Dr Hemant Gupta
Dr. Hemant Gupta’s 25 years of extensive expertise in Ayurveda medicine and holistic health continues to attract people of all cultures and lifestyle backgrounds. Since receiving his MD degree in Ayurvedic Medicine, and a degree in Natural Medicine, Dr. Gupta has been consulting with and treating patients, conducting research, publishing professional articles, lecturing and teaching internationally on his findings.
Dr. Gupta has been invited to teach at institutions in North America, Europe, Asia, Southeast Asia and Australia to develop curriculum and conduct courses for physicians, medical professionals, and the general public.
As associate professor and deputy director at the College of Maharishi Vedic Medicine at M.U.M. in Fairfield, Iowa, he designed comprehensive undergraduate, Masters and Ph.D. degree programs. While in Iowa, Dr. Gupta was on the advisory board of the Center for Natural Medicine and Prevention which is funded by the National Institute of Health to do research on complementary medicine.
Two premiere ayurveda and panchakarma centers recruited Dr. Gupta for the Directorship of ayurveda programs at The Raj in Fairfield, Iowa and later at The Maharishi Ayurveda Health Center in Lancaster, Massachusetts. He also developed and taught courses for Memorial University in Newfoundland and the Ayurvedic Academy of Canada in Toronto.
Over two years ago, he established the Shree Ma Ayurveda Institute and Wellness Centre in Ottawa. As Director, he provides a full range of Ayurvedic Knowledge from lectures and certification courses to clinical consultations and panchakarma treatment.

Kamini Gupta’s experience with Ayurvedic cooking spans a lifetime. Being born in India, her upbringing and knowledge makes her a vegetarian gourmet. She has been offering Ayurvedic cooking classes for the last 12 years in North America. Her cooking tips and recipes are delicious, simple, healthy and healing.
Douglas Gillard, Enrollment Director and Spa Technician
Douglas Gillard has been studying various complementary medical practices for almost a decade. His path to becoming a multidiscipline therapist with a holistic approach has included the traditional medicines of Asia, Europe and North America.
Doug’s fields of study have included aromatherapy, nutrition, western and eastern herbalism. A passion for bodywork has drawn him to numerous hands-on therapies including reflexology, shiatsu, tui na, abhyanga, ayurveda spa therapies, marma therapy, acupuncture, thai massage, lomi lomi, su jok, and hot stone therapy.
Doug continues to expand his knowledge of holistic medicine. The incorporation of both, ancient wisdom along with new ideas into his treatments for the ultimate benefit of the client continues to be his goal. Doug has enjoyed treating the cliental of Shree Ma Ayurveda Institute & Wellness Centre, and he looks forward to continuing work under the guidance of Dr. Gupta and with the other practitioners at Shree Ma to incorporate Ayurvedic therapies that offer more integrative pathways of treatment for optimal health.

Arvind Kamble has been studying and practicing Vedic Astrology and Palm Reading for the last 40 years under well known masters in India and North America. Recently he has started to offer consultations and introductory lectures on these subjects at Shree Ma.
